CITIZEN’S CLUB
The Citizen’s Club, like other Hot Springs casinos, started as the Chicago Cigar Store where they provided lots of services to include Book Making on a wide variety of betting facility. Later found to be more profitable as a club with gambling activities. Fourteen known designs but most purchased back in the 30’s have not been found and are suspected of having been burned during the raids.
This was another club hit hard by the State Police raids in 1967 and equipment found, and chips were reported burned.
