ABOUT THIS SITE
This project was started back in 2020 when I decided I wanted to see the front and back of each Hot Springs Illegal Chip.
How were the 200 chips selected. Using the book Gambling in the Spa by Wayne Threadgill I selected only the chips that had an estimated value. Wayne told me about the chips without an estimated value had not been proven or found so they were not verified chips. This eliminated 15 chips.
As I slowly went through my collection, I realized I was missing 15% of the chips. I talked to Wayne, and he lent me one of his sets of Hot Springs chips to copy for this project. As I went along, I kept Wayne informed of my progress and he would review each chip for me.
I’m still missing pictures 30 +- chips. I have reached out to the authorities of collecting the HS Illegal Casino Chips and they have not responded or do not have those chips either.
